NUART LINE UP AND POSTER
Thanks to our man Dolk for a top image for this years poster and idents. Happy to announce that the line up is now complete. Really looking forward to seeing what this years artists come up with, Re-Mix the city guys !. Not your usual "mural" festival this year as you can see from the roster but a ton of great walls, spots and billboards lined up as well as the usual "tunnels" for the indoor show.
Indoor show will run from 29th Sept until Nov 18th and be open 6 days a week, killer space with almost 1/2 kilometer of wall space. Some great installs planned.
In addition to the Exhibition and street work, we've initiated Nuart Plus, an international conference/summit that will feature some of the worlds leading professionals (or at least dedicated amateurs) engaged in this culture.
Full program to be announced shortly.
Website with be updated soooon.
Cheers

FOCUS ON :NIELS SHOE MEULMAN
As we don't have a massive marketing strategy (or budget for one), thought we'd simply drop our friends and fans a few videos of work by artists attending this years event. First up. Niels Shoe Meulman.
Mode 2 once said in an interview, something along the lines of.. In art class, if you couldn't draw a realistic hand or face, you were shunted to the back of the class, in spite of how much you may have enjoyed or been passionate about the subject.. an "elite" was already being formed in first grade. The beauty of Graffiti, when it came along.. (and in my mind the revolutionary aspect of it), was that to participate, all you needed to know were your ABC's..
It was that one sentence that taught me to take every mark, every tag and every throwup a lot more seriously.
Anyway, Niels Shoe Meulman, elevating ABC's all the way. Check out his long and established involvement in the culture here.
