FOCUS ON :NIELS SHOE MEULMAN

As we don't have a massive marketing strategy (or budget for one), thought we'd simply drop our friends and fans a few videos of work by artists attending this years event. First up. Niels Shoe Meulman.

Mode 2 once said in an interview, something along the lines of.. In art class, if you couldn't draw a realistic hand or face, you were shunted to the back of the class, in spite of how much you may have enjoyed or been passionate about the subject.. an "elite" was already being formed in first grade. The beauty of Graffiti, when it came along.. (and in my mind the revolutionary aspect of it), was that to participate, all you needed to know were your ABC's..

It was that one sentence that taught me to take every mark, every tag and every throwup a lot more seriously.
