Never really been sure what these guys were up to, but having spent a week in Lisbon recently, I'm beginning to understand where they're coming from. One of the few groups exploiting the performative aspects of street art, amongst other actions, in a really interesting way.

FAITH47 IN ROCHESTER USA

Without a doubt the most beautiful and accomplished Faith47 piece we've seen. If you're looking to inspire and lift the spirit of a community, I can't think of a better piece. The piece is entitled "Rhapsody" and was recently produced for the Wall Therapy event in Rochester USA.

Photography - Home Made Vegetable Soup

Bought a slow cooker to make stews and soups in the winter but have been using it to make some vegetable soup for when I get back from swimming. The recipe is easy....open fridge, chop all vegetables, 2 pints of veg stock, cup of barley, cup of lentils, big dolop of tomato paste, add all to slow cooker and in 3 hours you have soup. Yeyyyyy! Don't think I would win Ready, Steady, Cook with it but it fills that massive hole I have after swimming.

FOCUS ON :NIELS SHOE MEULMAN

As we don't have a massive marketing strategy (or budget for one), thought we'd simply drop our friends and fans a few videos of work by artists attending this years event. First up. Niels Shoe Meulman.

Mode 2 once said in an interview, something along the lines of.. In art class, if you couldn't draw a realistic hand or face, you were shunted to the back of the class, in spite of how much you may have enjoyed or been passionate about the subject.. an "elite" was already being formed in first grade. The beauty of Graffiti, when it came along.. (and in my mind the revolutionary aspect of it), was that to participate, all you needed to know were your ABC's..

It was that one sentence that taught me to take every mark, every tag and every throwup a lot more seriously.

Anyway, Niels Shoe Meulman, elevating ABC's all the way. Check out his long and established involvement in the culture here.
